Healthy Happy Home
Letter from the Publishers
This month’s theme of Healthy Happy Home inspired us to write about things associated with home life. No matter what type of place a person calls home, a place that one can go to for safety and comfort is truly a blessing. There are many people in Hawaii that can only wish for such a place. It’s for that reason that we wish to emphasize that having a place to call home deserves a high level of gratitude and care, both physically and emotionally.
There are articles in this month’s edition that share tips and hints along those lines. Across the ages, people have devised methods to align the energies in their homes for optimum benefits. One such methodology is feng shui, which is based on the bagua, or the energy map of your house. Balance and energy are created in the home through the five feng shui elements of wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Introducing these elements in specific areas is based on what’s desired. The law of attraction depends on us being aware of what we’re looking to attract and taking action to make that happen. What better way to keep the energy flowing than to establish energy grid in our own home? Check out the feng shui workshop in the events calendar.
We also want to give a shout out to the advertisers who donated prizes to our drawing at the OHM Expo at the end of February. Mahalo nui loa to Hawaii Hypnosis Center, Red Light Therapy, Waimea Valley, and Yoni Steam. The winners of the prizes were all so delighted to be chosen. It was rewarding to be able to make the contacts. Check out page 9 to see the list of recipients.
This month’s edition has great articles about establishing and maintaining a happy, healthy home. It also has a great calendar of events for April. One of our favorites is the nighttime Waimea Valley full moon walk and dinner buffet, this month on April 28. See the valley in a whole different way!
