The Science of Happiness

A Special Presentation by Jay Risser

The Wahiawa Rainbow Seniors are hosting Jay Risser for a special presentation of The Science of Happiness. This presentation will take place on Monday, April 9, at 8:45 a.m., at the Wahiawa Community Center. All are welcome, especially those with a happy smile!

Jay is a world traveler who was born in California. He moved to Hawai‘i after high school to work for Greenpeace to help save the whales. He took some time to travel the world but returned to Hawai‘i where he has spent the past 40 years. He is currently studying for his Ph.D. in Positive Psychology with the goal of teaching people how to become happier.

The science of Positive Psychology has found that an individual can raise their happiness level and keep it elevated permanently. During his talk, Jay will share the latest research and teach several techniques that are proven to raise happiness levels that can lead to more creativity, productivity and success.

Location: Wahiawa Community Center, Wahiawa District Park, 1139A Kilani Avenue, Wahiawa (enter via Glen Avenue for free parking).
